Every two years, Amsterdam hosts the world’s biggest string quartet festival, embarking on an eight-day voyage of discovery, tradition and experimentation.For SQBA 2020, which was held on 25.01-01.02, Reflect Studio designed + manufactured a collection of bags and t-shirts to be sold at the different venues of the festival.

Design of the products were based on the branding of the Biennale. SQBA makes use of the letter A as a sound from the instrument, distorting the typography as a note, expanding and narrowing. The distorted A was applied on t-shirts and bags, and labels, using SQBA’s institutional colours.
